General Licensing Info
The licensing model for our products is based on the way you deploy the applications
using our components in production. For the development process of your application
you can use the downloaded trial version which has all the features enabled for
an unlimited period of time. We encourage you to test the components both in your
development and production environments and we offer free technical support
by email to get our components working in your environment before making
the purchase decision.
Our licensing model consists in two types of licenses and you'll have to decide
which one best fits your needs:
A lower cost deployment
license which allows you to use our component on a single physical
server owned by you or by your company as part of a single server-side ASP.NET web
application, or as part of a single Windows desktop application for personal use
or distributed only inside your company. Additionally, when you buy a deployment
license you also get free minor version updates for the purchased
major version and normal priority technical support by email for
1 year from the purchase date.
A redistributable
license which allows you to use our component in any number of ASP.NET
web applications or Windows desktop applications that you can deploy/distribute
inside or outside your company, on an unlimited number of physical servers or to
an unlimited number of customers. Additionally, when you buy a redistributable license
you also get priority technical support by email and free major
and minor version updates for 1 year from the purchase date.
You'll receive by email a license key immediately after you have purchased a product.
The license key contains the license type and the customer info in an encrypted
format. Using the license key you'll be able to immediately unlock the downloaded
demo version and transform it into a licensed version.

to redistribute our components outside your company or if you need to deploy our
components on many physical servers or as part of many server side applications
or as part of many desktop applications you can consider buying a single
redistributable license instead of buying multiple deployment licenses.

for 1 year from the purchase date.

A Redistributable License entitles you to obtain minor and major
version updates and priority technical support by email free of charge for 1 year
from the purchase date. After 1 year you have the option to renew the updates and
support subscriptions for your redistributable license if you buy a Redistributable
License Updates and Support Subscriptions Renewal for 1 Year.
A Deployment License entitles you to obtain minor version updates
for the purchased major version and normal priority technical support by email for
1 year from the purchase date. If your previous updates and support subscriptions
expired or you if you want to upgrade your deployment license to a new major version
you can buy a Deployment License Updates and Support Subscriptions Renewal for 1
Year. When you upgrade to a new major version you can get minor updates
for the new major version for 1 year from the uprade date.
When you renew
the updates and support subscription for a toolkit license the renewal applies to
all the products contained in the toolkit.
